Intensive
Courses are
now considered to be one of the most popular and successful methods of
learning to drive and are ideal for those with busy schedules, or for
anyone who wants to get their driving licence in the shortest possible
time. However, it should be noted
that the overall time required to pass both practical and theory tests
does depend on DSA
waiting
lists which vary from area to area. To
progress from ‘novice’ to test standard can take 4 weeks in some
towns and 16 weeks in others. ( 1 week in
Cannock )
Test
candidates wanting a
Residential
Intensive Course,
will
find plenty of
hotel and B&B accommodation in the Cannock,
Lichfield
& Walsall areas.

The
‘Pass
Plus’

Major insurance companies now support the scheme and offer substantial
discounts for newly qualified drivers
on
completion of a
‘Pass
Plus’ course.

If
you are unsure of how many lessons you likely to need, you are
advised to have an assessment.
Your
instructor will be pleased to help and advise you with any problems or
questions you may have
at
any stage during
your training.
Bearing
in mind that you may have to wait several weeks for your driving test, (1
week or less in Cannock)
you
can also choose how to take your Intensive Course from one of these
three options...
|
|
Option
1
Spread the course hours evenly throughout the period
leading up to your
practical
test appointment.
Option
2
Complete half the course hours, sit
out the waiting list period,
then take the rest of the course just prior to your test appointment.
Option
3
Take all of the
lessons in the weeks just prior to your test appointment.
|
|
You
can choose whichever option suits your time-scale best.
If
you don’t think any of the three options are ideal for you, then your
instructor will be
happy
to arrange an alternative schedule to meet your requirements.
